We woke up to find the sky had turned a strange blue colour. Then an even stranger phenomenon - a warm yellow globe arose in the East. Older members of the group said that this was called the Sun...
After breakfast it was off to the Wales Regional Mass with Bishop Tom of Menevia presiding. As always, this was a very joyous occasion with lots of singing and all the groups getting involved in the offertory procession. Bishop Tom joined in the hymns with great gusto, especially Rise and Shine at the end of the Mass. Then it was out to the Domain for group photographs before heading back to the hotel for lunch.
After lunch we played games in the hotel garden including, for the first time in Group 73 history, a chess tournament won by Isaac. There was also a great water battle in which Chris Spooner of SCFP 707 was badly defeated.
This evening we're off out to paint the town red with our Boys Night Out and Girls Night Out and as the saying goes - what happens in Lourdes, stays in Lourdes...!
