What a Great Day!

HCPT Groups 55, 73 and 105, held their annual summer Fete in the verdant and sunny Victoria Park.

What a great day it was with something for everyone. Hot dogs, Cakes, White
Elephant, Books, Bottles, and many, many more....even a Splat The Rat!!!

The highlight of the day was the Inter-Schools football matches. This year 12 schools
were represented, each fielding a team of 8. For the first time 9 girls teams entered
the highest number ever. Well done to all who participated. These events are a
magnificent way for schools to come together as a Catholic community.

Many hundreds were in attendance to support the football and the fete
and by doing so help to sustain the tremendous work done by HCPT,
the Pilgrimage Trust.

Many thanks to Canton Rangers Football Club, and the two excellent
referees, Gavin Davies and Ellis Tucker, and to Andy Wigmore for his
support. Special thanks to Tony Bibey for setting up the pitch and for
liaising with Ros Franklin of Cardiff Schools Football Development
Programme.
